Swim Instructor

Westside Aquatics is looking for qualified swim instructors to join their team!

Program Goals

1. To make swimming a fun/enjoyable activity for all

2. To promote independent swimmers

3. To create safety-conscious swimmers

4. To create technically-correct swimmers

Responsibilities

- Teach private, semi-private and group lessons for 2-12 year olds

(Levels include Water Safety, Independent Swimming, Beginning Strokes, Advanced Kicks, and Advanced Strokes)

- Positive, fun learning environment

- Creative teaching style

- Friendly, enthusiastic demeanor with swimmers and parents

Qualifications

- Prior experience as a competitive swimmer and/or experience working with children

- 16 years of age or older

- Certification desired (1st Aid/CPR, WSI, or Lifeguard)

We are looking to fill shifts during the hours of Monday-Friday from 3:30-5:30pm and Saturdays 8:30-11:30am at MGAC/Pali High. This is a part-time position with a starting pay rate of $18-25.
