American Swim Academy is looking for a part-time Day Porter to be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functioning environment for the members and staff at our Walnut Creek location.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete all daily and weekly assigned janitorial duties as directed by school management.
- Clean wet area floors and drains, including tiled restroom floors and the shower, hallway, and change room floors.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all restrooms, change rooms, and shower areas.
- Vacuum all carpeted areas.
- Dust, including but not limited to window sills, door jams, frames, break room surfaces, restroom etc.
SCHEDULE
Sat and Sun 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Carry out written and oral instructions.
- Ability to communicate with members, co-workers, and other staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain attendance and arrive on time.
COMPENSATION
- $19-$20 per hour, depending on experience
- Uniform shirt provided, casual dress code

American Swim Academy has been teaching the Bay Area to swim since 1973. Our goal is to promote water safety, comfort, and stroke technique for all ages and all abilities. Year-round and small class ratios offer personalized instruction, 7 days a week. Our indoor pools are heated to a comfortable 92° and have been designed specifically for swim instruction.
Member schools are independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the member school, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this school.
