Kickin’ It Kids Gym is a space where we foster a passion for physical activity through enjoyable play experiences. Our gym contains a state-of-the-art indoor playground that offers endless fun for kiddos in addition to a diverse list of classes. We empower children with essential skills for a healthier lifestyle, focusing on locomotor development, stability, social interaction, and confidence-building activities. From parent-assisted sessions for babies and young children to drop-off fitness classes led by expert coaches, we're dedicated to nurturing active, confident kids.
Having grown up in Colorado, the team behind Kickin’ It spent their youth enjoying the state’s endless play and physical activities. Daphna and Yael, sisters and the owners of Little Kickers Swim School, and Mark, the former owner of Great Play Cherry Creek, are continuing their passion to promote active lifestyles for healthy children. Utilizing the amazing team that makes Little Kickers Swim School the best in Denver, we have built Kickin' It with the same methodology and dedication to our amazing community.

JOB OVERVIEW
Birthday parties are a Kickin' It Kids Gym specialty! Where else can you run, play and celebrate with such joy and abandon? Parents and kids, friends and families, all have a great time celebrating in Kickin' It's state of the art gym. The Birthday Host is a key element in bringing the fun and making memories! Your enthusiasm, energy and continued vigilance make the party a seamless, easy and enjoyable experience for everyone involved!
This is a part time, hourly weekend role that is entirely onsite. This position will report to the General Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Play gracious and entertaining host to multiple scheduled birthday parties most weekends.
- Gym set-up and break down
- Provide supervision and entertainment throughout party
RESPONSIBILITIES
Hosting
- Make the event special by welcoming kiddos, parents and guests from set-up through clean-up.
- Greet guests.
- Answer any questions of attendees and make them feel at home
- Keep the energy pumping!
Gym Set-Up / Breakdown
- Help set up and take down decorations
- Set up gym for games, obstacles courses, and swings for kid's to play on
- Keep gym area neat and tidy throughout the party.
- Breakdown decorations, clean up and empty trash, return gym to the highest standards of cleanliness
Entertaining/ Supervising
- Make the environment special by curating a playlist of kid's favorite songs
- Organize and run group games of hosts or kiddo's choosing
- Actively participate with kids and families to keep the energy high!
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to established safety protocols and guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with other hosts, and clients to create a memorable experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- A love of kids and joyful heart
- Outgoing and engaging
- Experience working with children in high energy settings, such as camp, after school programs,
- Theater, music and entertaining experience
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- $25 - $30 / hour commensurate with experience
- PTO and Sick Leave for part time staff!
- 401(k) with matching contribution (100% matching for first 3%, 50% matching for next 2%)
