The Position:
The Operations Manager oversees the “day-to-day” operations of the business, including interacting with customers, staff, and pool partners. He/she oversees the successful and safe operation of the pool.

This is a full-time, salary position reporting to the Owner.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a safe and efficient running operation
Hire, train, lead, and develop employees
Provide exemplary customer service and represent the brand
Develop and implement class schedules and staffing plans
Manage inventory and monitor equipment
Develop and adhere to the budget
Use sound judgement and own the role

What We Need From You:
· Curiosity and comprehension of the intricacies of the program

· Ambition, initiative, sound judgement

· Experience leading a 5 to 20 member part-time team across multiple shifts

· Experience coaching up and/or out

· Strong business operations knowledge

· Exemplary customer service skills

· Detail oriented

· Sense of urgency

· Results driven
· Multi-tasking. Ability to prioritize multiple objectives

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”
