Water You Wading For Swim School is seeking a passionate and experienced Curriculum Trainer to join our dynamic swim school team. The Curriculum Trainer will be responsible for assisting in designing, developing, and overseeing the educational and instructional curriculum for all swim levels, ensuring consistency, safety, and the highest quality of swim instruction. This role requires a blend of education expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of swimming techniques and teaching methods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum development, staff training, and a commitment to fostering a positive, supportive learning environment for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. - Develop and conduct training programs for new and existing swim instructors, ensuring they are well-versed in the curriculum, teaching techniques, and safety protocols.
- Monitor instructors’ performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure teaching methods are consistent with the curriculum and standards.
- Lead regular professional development workshops and seminars for swim instructors.

Program Evaluation & Improvement:
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of the swim school’s programs and make data-driven adjustments to the curriculum to maximize student outcomes.
- Collect and analyze student feedback, assessments, and performance metrics to continually enhance the swim school’s programs.

Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure the curriculum adheres to safety standards and regulations set by national and local governing bodies (e.g., StarGuard, USSSA, USA Swimming).
- Train staff on emergency procedures, risk management, and maintaining a safe swimming environment for all participants.
Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Sports Science, Recreation, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or curriculum development role within a swim school or related aquatic program.
- Strong knowledge of swim instruction methods, aquatic safety, and the developmental stages of swimmers.

Skills & Abilities:
- Proven experience in curriculum design and educational program management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team of instructors.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to assess student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Training (preferred).

Compensation: $39,000.00 per year
