Waterworks Aquatics is a premier swim school that teaches children ages 3 months through adult how to swim. Our mission is to educate and motivate individuals to be safer and learn proper swimming technique.
Job Description:
As a Charter School Clerk for Waterworks Aquatics, you will be responsible for supporting the operations of the accounting department, primarily related to third party payments made to Waterworks Aquatics. You will be responsible for reading and responding to emails, data entry, account reconciliation, and other tasks as required by the accounting department.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain department email inbox – respond to PO emails
- Communicate with outside billing departments regarding POs
- Communicate with customers when they request assistance with their POs
- Assist our office staff in client account issues
- Receiving and tracking Purchase Orders
- Creating Invoices to be sent to Vendors
- Add funding to client swim accounts
- Assist in completing Vendor applications to expand roster of schools the company partners with
- Create and Maintain Excel Spreadsheets
- Collaborate with supervisors and other accounting associates to complete various accounting and administrative tasks
General Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Competency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Showcase a grasp of basic accounting principles and practices
- Possess a student mentality and show a willingness to take on more responsibility
- General math skills and an aptitude for numbers
- Excellent time management, analytical and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to showcase honesty, integrity, and confidentiality
- Ability to work in person out of Irvine location

Compensation: $22.00 per hour
