British Swim School, the leader in teaching water survival and swimming lessons, is in need of a highly motivated and experienced swim team coach for our non competitive swim team.
Our Barracuda Swim Team Coach will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and will help our Non Competitive Swim Team members improve their swimming skills.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Experience coaching, teaching, or working with children.
- Fantastic communication and organizational skills.
- Evening availability
- Creates an educational, safe and inviting experience for all participants
- Initiates, develops and maintains positive relationships with participants
- Follows plan developed by head coach
Position Requirements
- Some swim coaching experience preferred
- Competitive swim background with knowledge of all 4 strokes
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 3 months of hire
The position is part-time
Pay: $22-24/hour based on experience
Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”
