Brief Overview:
We’re seeking a relationship-driven, high-energy Strategic Partnerships Specialist to build and nurture lasting relationships with our pool partners, scholarship organizations, and business collaborators. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and tech-savvy - someone who thrives on connecting with people, managing multiple moving parts, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships that strengthen our mission.
Position Summary:
The Strategic Partnerships Specialist is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and maintaining partnerships that support our growth and impact. This role blends relationship management, communication, and business development - ensuring every partner feels valued, supported, and aligned with our goals. The ideal candidate will be a natural connector who approaches partnerships with care, creativity, and strategic insight.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage partnerships with schools, property owners, businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations aligned with our mission.

Foster strong, ongoing relationships with existing partners to ensure satisfaction, collaboration, and retention.

Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities through outreach, networking, and strategic proposals.

Manage partnership logistics — including onboarding, agreements, communication, and performance tracking.

Collaborate internally with operations, marketing, and leadership to maximize the impact of each partnership.

Leverage technology tools (CRM systems, Airtable, etc.) to organize communications, track progress, and analyze performance data.

Represent the organization professionally at meetings, networking events, and community gatherings.

Contribute to growth goals through cross-promotional campaigns, sponsorship initiatives, and relationship-based sales.

Track and report key metrics - such as partner satisfaction, partnership value, hours available, or scholarship funds awarded.
- Relationship-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and skilled at managing multiple relationships simultaneously.

Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems, Airtable, Google Workspace, or similar tools.

Self-starter who works independently, prioritizes effectively, and follows through with consistency.

Previous experience in partnerships, business development, community outreach, or sales required.

Energetic and personable, with a genuine interest in people and community-building.
- Passion for education, youth development, and community impact is a major plus.
- $500/week; training is $15/hour
