Swim Instructor – Full-Time & Part-Time

LowCountry Swim School, the #1 trusted swim school in Charleston, is seeking passionate and motivated Swim Instructors to join our growing team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference while earning competitive pay in a supportive, fun environment.

Position Summary:
Swim Instructors provide high-quality swim instruction to swimmers of all ages and abilities, including adaptive swimmers. Instructors focus on water safety, skill development, confidence-building, and creating a positive experience for every swimmer.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach swim lessons to children, teens, and adults

  • Work with swimmers of varying abilities, including individuals with disabilities

  • Follow lesson plans while adapting instruction to individual needs

  • Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment

  • Communicate professionally with families and staff

  • Uphold all safety and facility policies

Qualifications:

  • Swimming experience required (competitive, recreational, or instructional)

  • Teaching, coaching, or childcare experience preferred

  • Comfortable working with all ages and adaptive swimmers

  • Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule:

  • Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
