- Conduct engaging swim lessons for individuals and groups of varying skill levels.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants.
- Develop lesson plans tailored to the needs and goals of each swimmer.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and areas for improvement.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area and teaching materials.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Promote swim safety awareness and best practices to students and families.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
- Previous experience teaching swim lessons or coaching is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Passion for swimming and a commitment to student development.
- Must be at least 17 years old and have reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of swim techniques and safety protocols is essential.
- Enthusiasm for working with children and adults alike.
