The Position
The Aquatics Manager oversees the daily operations of our swim program, ensuring a safe, consistent, and exceptional experience for swimmers, families, and team members. This role combines leadership, onsite customer service, team development, and operational excellence to help deliver the outstanding experience families expect from British Swim School.
Your Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a team of exceptional swim instructors
- Create and manage employee and lesson schedules to ensure operational excellence
- Provide outstanding customer service onsite.
- Assist with Swim lessons as needed.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and care
- Monitor program quality and maintain British Swim School standards
- Support business growth through member retention and exceptional customer experiences
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of customer service experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead with professionalism, integrity, positivity, and accountability
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aquatics, swim instruction, fitness, recreation, or team management preferred
- Specialized aquatics certification is desirable but not required
- Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications are a plus and may be obtained during training
- One or More Years of Management Experience is preferred.
Compensation
- $21 - $23 per hour
- Up to 20 hours per week

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”
