Office Assistant/Front Office Receptionist
Part Time • AcroSports - League City
AcroSports Kid Center is growing!! We have two locations- one in League City, TX & the other in Friendswood, TX and are hiring for a Office Assistant/Front Office Receptionist. This will be an incredibly high paced high energy position!!! Proudly serving our community since 1984 (35+years). Part-time position are currently available (between 20-29 hours weekly) with a possibility of going full-time.
As a front desk team member you are responsible for providing a high level of customer service to our families, making lasting impressions. You will work to build relationships with our families, providing personal attention while checking in students, relaying account messages, giving tours and answering various questions. You can expect to be regularly communicating with families and fellow staff members, remaining calm and efficient during periods of high volume at the front desk. You should be someone who is warm and welcoming while also being highly organized, dependable and open to feedback. As a front desk team member you will report to the Office Manager or VP during shifts and provide support throughout the lobby as needed.

This is a part-time position that requires afternoon/evening and weekend shifts with the possibility of becoming full-time.
Responsibilities:
• Collecting payments and issuing receipts
• Answering and returning phone calls, messages and emails
• Making calls on behalf of directors, department leaders and staff
• Ensuring an efficient use, management and running of an office
• Sending out information, accounts and promotional material
• Updating class rolls
• Managing and taking stock of pro shop sales
• Data entry on Jackrabbit (MS based program)
• Light cleaning duties as stipulated in opening and closing checklists delegated by supervisor
• Cash handling
• Office-related projects set by directors
• General office and administrative duties
• Events management including the coordination and overseeing of special evening and daytime events.• Customer retention including following up with trials, children with accident reports, administration of ribbons/levels/progressions, etc. MUST be willing to work hours Monday through Friday 4:15pm - 7:45pm and 8:30am - 12:15pm Saturday morning.

There is also a potential for extra weekend work during events for significantly increased hourly rate. Required Education, Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 1 years of previous Customer Service Experience (preferred)
- Previous experience working with children and parents
- High School Graduate
- High level of customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team
- Caring and compassion for children and adults
- Ability to solve problems by proactively finding solutions
- Strong communication skills
- MUST have your own transportation
- Great attitude and willingness to be coached
- The ability to focus in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to commit to at least 1 year of employment, afternoons and weekends required

Compensation: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
