Make an Impact Behind the Scenes — and in the Spotlight

At British Swim School Hudson Waterfront, every conversation and every detail matters. This role combines high-level customer care, sales, and administrative operations to support families on their water safety journey — from the first inquiry to long-term success in our program.

We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable working independently behind the scenes with strong attention to detail and stepping into high-volume customer-facing moments with confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.

This is not just a call center role — it’s a multifaceted position with room for growth and opportunities to represent our brand in the community.

What You’ll Do

Sales & Customer Care

  • Guide families through enrollment with confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Handle inbound calls, texts, emails, and tickets with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ask thoughtful questions to understand family goals and recommend the right class level.
  • Overcome objections and confidently guide families toward enrollment.
  • Support retention efforts by understanding concerns and offering thoughtful solutions.
  • Provide clear explanations of policies, billing, and scheduling.

Admin & Operational Responsibilities

  • Process cancellations, online enrollments, account updates, and billing adjustments.
  • Manage and maintain our in-house ticketing system.
  • Follow SOPs accurately and consistently.
  • Document interactions thoroughly to ensure smooth team communication.
  • Catch errors before they become problems — strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Balance accuracy with efficiency while managing multiple systems.

Brand Ambassador / Event Support (Bonus Opportunity)

  • Attend occasional local off-site events (must be able to drive).
  • Represent British Swim School Hudson Waterfront with energy and professionalism.
  • Engage with families, answer questions, and generate excitement about our program.
  • Help convert event leads into enrollments.
  • Events are paid at a higher, separate rate and offer additional earning opportunities.

What Success Looks Like

  • You work independently and stay productive without constant oversight.
  • You notice details others miss and proactively fix problems.
  • You confidently switch between admin-focused work and fast-paced customer service.
  • You build genuine connections with families while maintaining accuracy.
  • You follow established processes but also think ahead and anticipate needs.
  • You represent the brand with enthusiasm and professionalism both virtually and in person.

Who You Are

  • Highly detail-oriented and process-driven.
  • Strong communicator with a warm, confident phone presence.
  • Comfortable with sales conversations and asking for the enrollment.
  • Able to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
  • Forward thinker who anticipates issues before they happen.
  • Comfortable working independently but collaborative with the team.

Role Requirements

  • Call center, sales, admin, or high-touch customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy (Google Suite, CRMs, spreadsheets).
  • Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accuracy across systems.
  • Reliable high-speed internet, computer with webcam, and headset.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends (we operate 7 days/week).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Local to the Hudson Waterfront area (or surrounding communities) with reliable transportation for occasional in-person events.

Compensation & Perks

  • Weekly pay
  • Commission + performance bonuses
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Gym reimbursement (up to $25/month)
  • 401(k) plan
  • Medical insurance options
  • Growth opportunities within a fast-growing franchise

U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Information (Completion is voluntary)

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

You are being given the opportunity to provide the following information in order to help us comply with federal and state Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action record keeping, reporting, and other legal requirements.

Completion of the form is entirely voluntary. Whatever your decision, it will not be considered in the hiring process or thereafter. Any information that you do provide will be recorded and maintained in a confidential file.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 4/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.
